February 2011
We had an open discussion session. There were several demos of new distros and projects that we were all working on at the moment. One quick demo was the installation of one of the images from Turnkey Linux , a virtual appliance library. The library is a collection of over 45 ready images that make setting up a Linux appliance as easy as downloading an iso or a prebuilt virtual machine. The images are built on Ubuntu Lucid, the latest Long Term Support Ubuntu release.
For demonstration purposes the File Server Appliance ISO image was downloaded and installed in a VirtualBox virtual machine.
